pancakes, jellyfish

i started 2010 off right!


the mix was under the christmas tree from sister stoopie!
...and that is my new penguin spatula from friend marshy :-)

and then,
i tried
jellyfish
at some totally ghetto restaurant in chinatown that was, i promise you, not kosher.

bestie brian likes to do this thing
where he challenges someone else at the table
to order the weirdest thing on the menu with him.
it was between frog porridge and jelly fish.


the verdict?
imagine a rubber band.
in your mouth.
that's all.

tasteless/pointless.
i mean.
come on.
they sting you.
are jellyfish good for anything?

i do, however, consider myself successful in that i now have my first "bad food list" thing for 2010!!
